Was this week.
For sure.
On Monday, we finally got my ring back from the jewelers after about 2.5 weeks of them fixing my sapphire that got chipped. And that was taken in 3 days after we got it back from them replacing the missing side stone that had somehow escaped their notice when Cameron originally picked it up to propose to me. So! On Thursday night, I noticed a jingle-lingle-ling coming from the vicinity of my ring..... turns out my sapphire was loose in its setting. >( I was a very unhappy camper in finding this out. Mind you, I was being even more careful with the ring at this point, so I hadn't hit it or snagged it on anything to cause it to become loose. Cameron was pretty upset too. So we took the ring back in on Friday after I got off work and we should have it back on about Wednesday. So once again, my finger is nakie.
Oh! Monday morning, we took a lovely early morning drive (and by early, i mean 9 am) down to Provo to go to a jeweler that I won a bridal package from the La Caille bridal fair. I had won a free strand of fresh water pearls, up to 50% off Cameron's wedding band, 40% off the diamond, and 20% off the engagement ring. Seeing as we already have an engagement ring, we asked if we could get the discount on a wedding band instead. They agreed. After briefly looking at some mens bands, we went to Robison Bros. jewelers to open up some fortune cookies that we also got at La Caille, that potentially held coupons for prizes. I received another free strand of fresh water pearls (bringing the count up to 2) and a free cleaning that included some other stuff. We also took a look at mens bands there, because they told us of the show special. Certain bands at $99 or $150. And that's where I ordered Cameron's band. For $100. :) He's quite jealous of that price.
Tuesday night, we had a fun night with Drew and Allison Tack eating Papa John's pizza and watching some Top Gear. Which is my favorite show. Oh yes. >D
Friday, my brother Eric and his family came out from Colorado! They all visited me at my store. It was nice to see my nieces again. :) I had some clothes and stuff set aside for them, which they got, happy with the awesome hook-up they have. :)
Yesterday, Cameron's brother Todd and his wife, Brooke, flew in from Kansas City. They'll be staying about a week. It's been a family filled weekend!!
We celebrated Valentine's Day on Saturday night. We went to a new restaurant called the Copper Onion and the food was delicious!! Cameron got me a new set of Skull Candy earbuds, a gift card to Barnes and Noble (yay!!) and a iTunes gift card (more music!!! :D ). I got him a gift card to Best Buy and an additional so far undisclosed gift due to the fact I have not yet presented it to him, 'cause of lack of wrapping due to lack of time. :) He will receive it today.
And today!! Is Cameron's leetle broder, Marc, Eagle Court of Honor. Hurrah!!
