Well....

So it turns out that even deciding on a regular day to work the blog doesn't really work. You know, the whole "which day should I do it on?? I'll decide tomorrow" thing. Cause we're awesome like that. :D

So many things have happened since our last post. Here are some of the biggest:

We went to Kansas City to go to the sealing and blessing of our newest niece, Savannah, who was recently adopted by Todd and Brooke. It was a short trip, but a very sweet one. Savannah is one of the sweetest babies we've ever met and anyone who held her couldn't help but falling in love with her. Unfortunately, we were so focused on packing as lightly as possible (especially me. I'm a chronic over-packer. Seriously. Usually it's two big suitcases for a 3 day trip.) that we had forgotten to even pack a single camera. Yes, the couple that owns 5 cameras forgot to take even one. So we shall be referring you to our family members blogs to look at the pictures for that weekend.

The first snowfall has come and gone down here in the valley and I'm none too excited about it. I don't know what it is anymore, but when I see the fluffy white stuff coming down, I can't help but groan inside. I think it might have something to do with the abundance of atrocious drivers in this state. Before moving down here, I always loved snowfalls, but not so much anymore. I mean, I still like to play in them, that will always be fun, but when you have to get from point A to point B and half of the drivers are acting like they've never seen snow before and don't know how to drive in it, it's not so fun anymore. In Cheney, I'd purposely take corners fast so I could fishtail in the foot and a half of snow that was in the street and I'd be having a grand ol' time! But not here. No. I'm on the constant look out for the moron who has decided that since they're in a Subaru or some other type of SUV, that they're invincible and no longer need to pay attention to such piddly things as stop signs or other cars coming their way, for that matter! Last year, on my way home one evening from Cameron's place, I had to start evasive maneuvers because of two incidents that occurred in less than a half mile form each other. That was a fun night.

This past Friday, I had nasal/sinus surgery. So the good ol' doc went up into my nose and took out all of the polyps I had in my sinus' and whatever growths I had in my nostrils. And he shaved my septum down a bit cause it was crooked. The surgery had been scheduled to start at 12:15 pm ( I was freaking starving cause I hadn't been allowed to eat since midnight) but it didn't get underway until about 1:15 pm. The doc said they were able to get everything out. Today, I have my post surgery check-up and I can't wait to get this splint out. "Splint?" you say? Yes, I have a splint that goes from my nostrils on up into my sinus'. I'm not sure if it's just in the upper two or all four, but it is most uncomfortable. I'm not allowed to blow my nose because of it. And it's creating a lot of pressure up there. So, it's supposed to be coming out today. Hallelujah!!

As promised before, here are some pictures from the honeymoon:

Our cruise ship.
I'm having words with this here towel elephant.

Think he's happy? We do too. This guy was all over the place in Mexico!
We had to pay a dollar or something like that to take my picture with Eskeleto.
