"No Streams To Record" Error Solutions

The No Streams To Record error usually appears after clicking the Record button in the Supertintin window.  Just like what the exact error notification implies, Supertintin is unable to detect the corresponding audio and video streams of the call, thus making recording of the call not possible.  Some of the common causes of this error is listed below;

I.  Incorrect recording procedure

II.  Outdated version of the Supertintin Recorder

III.  Configurations/setting of user's anti-virus and/or firewall program

Moreover, below are suggestions and procedures that users can try in order to resolve the said error;

I.  In order for Supertintin to detect the audio and video call streams, both Supertintin and Skype/MSN must be opened before starting the call.  The suggested recording procedure is open Skype first, then open Supertintin.  Then click the Record button in the Supertintin window once the call is connected, or at any point during the call to start recording.

II.  Update your Supertintin recorder.  Just click the Help menu, then select About to check what version of Supertintin is installed in your computer.  Then proceed to the Download section of the Supertintin to check if there are newer version of the recorder.  Updating your software is free of charge.

III.  First, fully update your anti-virus or firewall program.  If the same error persist, "temporarily" disable your anti-virus or firewall then try recording.  Just don't browse any website or open other programs that uses internet connection while they are turned of.  If the problem is resolve, that means you may need to make certain changes or adjustments in your anti-virus or firewall to allow Supertintin processes.  Immediately reactivate your anti-virus/firewall after testing.

If the suggestions above don't solve the issue, please send an email to support@supertintin.com for further assistance.
