The Eagles Are Still Terrible

The Eagles played yesterday on Monday Night Football and embarrassed themselves again. The Eagles were losing 14-3 after the first quarter but came flying back to take a 15-14 lead going into halftime. The Eagles after three quarters were winning 22-21 but ended up ,losing 30-22.

The Eagles lost three fumbles and felt like a team going through the motions. The Eagles are 3-8 on the season and looks almost certain that longtime Eagles coach Andy Reid will be fired. A team picked to be one of the Super Bowl favorites the past two season will end up not making the playoffs both times.

Mike Vick did not play again tonight as the Eagles elected to go with rookie Nick Foles. Foles went 16/21 for 119 yards with no interception or touchdowns. Throwing 21 times and only getting 119 passing yards is terrible and means he is not throwing the ball down the field.

The Eagles will play the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night.
