Day 69 to 70: Agra

So get get from Delhi to Agra, we needed to drive for about 5 hours. We saw everything on the roads: horses, dogs, monkeys, donkeys, camels, elephants and cows. We arrived at our hotel and then headed out for the first part of our Agra tour. First we went to Agra Fort which was built by the Mogel kings, one of which built the Taj Mahal. From there we headed to the "Baby Taj" which was the first temple to use white marble and was the inspiration for the Taj. We headed back early so that we could get up and see the sunrise at the Taj Mahal.

We headed out early to see the single most important thing that Susan wanted to see in all of India, the Taj Mahal. We arrived there just as the sin was rising and this made it look almost pink instead of white. We had a fantastic guide that knew so much about it and how it was made. Afterwards, we headed back tot he hotel to pack up and head to Jaipur (the pink city).
